Actor Devin Ratray, best known for starring in “Home Alone,” is under investigation in NYC after he was accused of raping his friend in 2017.
Ratray, who played Buzz McCallister in the hit 1990 film, allegedly attacked Lisa Smith at his Manhattan apartment five years ago, according to CNN.
Smith claimed the 45-year-old actor drugged her before sexually assaulting her. She filed a police report shortly after the alleged ordeal.
Ratray denied all allegations against him and told the outlet he “did not have sex” with Smith.
Ratray was arrested last year on domestic violence charges in an unrelated incident after he was accused of trying to strangle his then-girlfriend.
He was released on a $25,000 bond and pleaded not guilty.
After his arrest in December, Smith began wondering why her case was not being investigated.
According to CNN, the case was shelved because police thought Smith didn’t want to press charges against Ratray.
Smith is now “in touch” with officials who are handling the case. She told the outlet that a prosecutor recently probed her phone and text records, and contacted potential witnesses.
The NYPD told The Post in a statement, “The NYPD takes sexual assault and rape cases extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so we can perform a comprehensive investigation, and offer support and services to survivors.”
Smith told the outlet she was “devastated” that her report was not investigated right away.
Detailing the night of the alleged attack on Sept. 21, 2017, Smith said she met Ratray for a drink along with her brother and another friend. They later went to Ratray’s apartment, where she claimed she was drugged by the actor, CNN reports.
“I remember waking up and I couldn’t move. I couldn’t really open my eyes, but I could hear what was happening and I could feel what was happening. I knew that the other two people were gone and I was still on the couch,” Smith told the outlet.
Smith alleged the actor sexually assaulted her for what seemed like “an eternity.”
The Post reached out to Ratray’s reps for comment.
Following his stint in the “Home Alone” franchise, Ratray went on to star in a handful of films, including 2013’s “Nebraska,” “Blue Rain” and most recently, “Kimi.”
